With a music education from there, he traveled to the United States to study at the renown Berklee College of Music. After finishing his education there he was hired for several Concert Tours for artists like Celia Cruz, The Backstreet Boys and Cirque Ingenieux to name a few.

He moved amidst these tours to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film music/music production.

Jose has worked with some of the biggest artists, top composers and music producers today.
