“The ribbon mic is the mic that any producer or a sound engineer has always dreamed about, but unfortunately it has been far too expensive to buy. The R.S.L. blew me away!
When you compare it with the classic ribbon mics, the Prodipe R.S.L. offers a similar level of performance. You have everything you’d expect to find from a ribbon microphone: softness, roundness, warmth and a really natural reproduction of instrument sounds.
If you take the example of an acoustic guitar which is rich in harmonics, the R.S.L. brings out the purity of the timbre and the presence of the instrument with an incredible accuracy.
The Prodipe R.S.L. fills a hole that needed to be filled and at this price I reckon no studio or home studio should be without it”.
