Dani Vargas

Dani Vargas was born in Santiago, Chile, into a family with a passion for art and music, and took up the guitar at the age of 16. Driven by his passion, he moved to the United States and taught guitar in Houston while perfecting his playing. In 2003, he recorded and toured with the progressive metal band Magistral. In 2009, he explored acoustic guitar with Aerial Visions, and in 2011 launched his instrumental trio, The Dani Vargas Group, releasing several EPs and the album Sound On Canvas. He then broadened his artistic expression by singing and composing rock with Thou Shall Doubt. Based in Los Angeles, he released his first solo album, Love, in 2018, and is preparing several projects for 2019, including an acoustic album with violinist Jenna Colombet. In 2020, he co-founded the group San Lyon with Jenna Colombet and Paige Herschell. Still active, he continues to record and perform solo and in groups.
