Gary Atkins

"Gary Atkins is a Toronto-based composer, guitarist, keyboardist, arranger and orchestrator. He works in theatre, television, film and multimedia. He co-wrote the music for the CTV series Creepy Canada. As a copyist, he has collaborated with several award-winning Canadian composers such as John Welsman, Paul Hoffert and Glenn Morley. He is technology coordinator at the Royal Conservatory of Music and teaches music technology at Humber College. As an ambassador for Sibelius, he trains teachers and musicians in the software across North America. He is a certified master trainer for Logic 9 and Logic X, and the only certified Sibelius trainer in Canada. Recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator, he also acts as a consultant for Apple. He has trained many renowned artists, including Herbie Hancock, Joe Sealy, Yves Frulla and Benjamin Wright. His career combines artistic expertise and technological mastery, making him a benchmark in composition and music education
