Origin Design TC Burgundy Red

" Le Prestige à la Française "

The Origin Design TC Burgundy Red proves that a professional guitar made in France can be expressive, durable, elegant, yet affordable.

For over twenty years, Prodipe has championed a simple idea: offering professional equipment at a fair price. Our Asian products, manufactured under French licence, have built this reputation for reliability.

The electric guitar market is dominated by historic brands that have become inaccessible. Between industrial models and elitist series, an alternative was missing:

A truly professional instrument, made in France but at the right price...

The excellence of French know-how

Designed as an exceptional instrument, the Origin Design TC Burgundy Red reflects the high standards and refinement of French luthier craftsmanship. Designed and manufactured in France in our workshops and crafted by our luthiers (ITEMM graduates), it stands out for its precision assembly, great stability and playing comfort, offering an ideal balance between warmth, attack and definition.

Designed for self-expression

The alder body, roasted maple neck and stainless steel frets combine to deliver a balanced, precise and durable response. The PRODIPE TL-N / TL-B Alnico 5 pickup set delivers a clear, round and open sound, with woody bass, singing mids and a strong twang, supported by an immediate attack and precise highs without aggression for an expressive and inspiring guitar...

An exceptional visual signature

The Origin Design TC Burgundy Red captivates at first glance with its deep, warm colour, inspired by the noble shades of Burgundy vineyards. Its glossy finish, combined with nickel fittings, asserts a strong, elegant and sophisticated visual character, evoking both controlled power and refinement.

For the past five years, we have been engaged in a demanding process of relocating part of our production to France, whenever human intervention adds decisive value to the instrument. Entirely manual adjustment, extremely precise planimetry, thorough acoustic testing and meticulous adjustments form the foundations of this philosophy, guided by the constant pursuit of excellence.

The TC Origin Design is the most accomplished expression of this philosophy. Designed by Prodipe, then assembled, adjusted and finalised in our workshops, it benefits from comprehensive planimetry carried out by our luthiers. Its sound has been fine-tuned through in-depth work carried out alongside Ludovic Lanen and Bruno Bongarçon. Each guitar is then assembled, wired and adjusted with the utmost rigour, before undergoing individual inspection to ensure a level of precision, musicality and reliability that meets the highest standards.

French Lutherie Craftsmanship: Precision, stability and character

A demanding instrument, designed to offer playing comfort, reliability and musicality. The alder body, combined with a flamed maple top, provides an ideal balance between warm mid-range tones and controlled brilliance. The roasted maple neck guarantees exceptional stability and immediate response, while the stainless steel frets, combined with complete planimetry, ensure precision and durability. The ensemble is completed by Wilkinson nickel hardware for impeccable tuning stability and CTS potentiometers renowned for their progressiveness and transparency.

The sound: Ame TC, between Vintage and Modernity

The PRODIPE TL-N / TL-B Alnico 5 pickup set is a true creation, developed in collaboration with sound engineer Ludovic Lannen and professional guitarist Bruno Bongarçon. Their shared goal was to recapture the essence of the first TC pickups while incorporating modern dynamics. The neck pickup offers a full, warm sound rich in harmonics, with precise bass response. The bridge pickup, mounted on a flat bronze plate, delivers a lively but controlled tone, a clean attack and a pronounced twang, without any harshness. The result is remarkable harmonic richness, responsive dynamics, perfect consistency between positions, and a lively, inspiring organic sound. A set designed by guitarists, for guitarists, capable of rivalling the best vintage models available today.

A shared vision: high standards, musicality and French manufacture

This guitar embodies a clear vision: to offer an expressive, reliable and inspiring instrument, combining the expertise of a luthier, Ludovic Lanen's demanding sound requirements and the real playing style of a guitarist (Bruno Bongarçon), with a premium Burgundy Red finish and a fair price. Ideal for modern pop, funk, rock, variety and studio work.
