Origin Design ST Burgundy Red

"Le Prestige à la Française"

The ST Origin Design Burgundy Red proves that a professional guitar made in France can be versatile, expressive, inspiring, yet accessible.

For over twenty years, Prodipe has championed a simple idea: offering professional equipment at a fair price. Our Asian products, manufactured under French licence, have built this reputation for reliability.

The electric guitar market is dominated by historic brands that have become inaccessible. Between industrial models and elitist series, an alternative was missing:

A truly professional instrument, made in France but at the right price...

For the past five years, we have been engaged in a demanding process of relocating part of our production to France, whenever human intervention adds decisive value to the instrument. Entirely manual adjustment, extremely precise planimetry, thorough acoustic testing and meticulous adjustments form the foundations of this philosophy, guided by the constant pursuit of excellence.

The ST Origin Design is the most accomplished expression of this philosophy. Designed byProdipe, then assembled, adjusted and finalised in our workshops, it benefits from comprehensive planimetry carried out by our luthiers. Its sound has been fine-tuned through in-depth work carried out alongside Ludovic Lanen and Bruno Bongarçon. Each guitar is then assembled, wired and adjusted with the utmost rigour, before undergoing individual inspection to ensure a level of precision, musicality and reliability that meets the highest standards.

French Lutherie Craftsmanship: Precision and versatility

The instrument's construction is based on demanding choices, designed to offer balance, stability and versatility. The alder body ensures a consistent response and defined mids, perfectly suited to an SSS configuration. The roasted maple neck provides rigidity, stability and immediate response, while the stainless steel frets, combined with complete planimetry, guarantee playing comfort and precision across the entire fingerboard. Wilkinson hardware ensures excellent tuning stability and reliable mechanics, complemented by CTS potentiometers renowned for their progressiveness and transparency.

Sound: Nuance, Definition, Musicality

The PRODIPE ST-3S Alnico 5 (5.5K / 5.5K / 6.5K) set was created in the studio of Ludovic Lanen, sound engineer and guitar enthusiast, in collaboration with guitarist Bruno Bongarçon. The neck and middle pickups are inspired by iconic models from the 60s and 70s to deliver clarity, dynamics and vintage tone. The bridge pickup, slightly overwound, offers more body, perfectly suited to crunch tones and better response in saturation, while retaining the bite and character of a single coil.

A Shared Vision, A Consistent Result

Designed by guitarists for guitarists, this set combines vintage spirit with a modern feel. The common goal was clear: spectral balance, precision and controlled attacks for Ludovic Lanen; musicality, consistency between positions and validation in real conditions for Bruno Bongarçon. The result combines the finesse of a vintage set, modern dynamics and exemplary sound consistency, suitable for all musical situations.
